The Molteni Series RHD configuration combines a single planetary winged-stirrer with a revolving saw-tooth high speed disperser and a revolving scraper arm.

The Series RHD is driven by two hydraulic motors. One hydraulic motor drives the planetary stirrer on its own axis and the gearbox, with revolving scraper arm, about a central axis. The other hydraulic motor independently drives the off-center high speed disperser / dissolver shaft, while revolving about a central axis.

Because the disperser / dissolver is moving through the product, it is possible to mix extremely high viscosity materials under high shear conditions with minimal heat build-up.
