Battaggion Tilting Tank Kneaders, Model IPI, consist of two tangential sigma or masticating blades rotating at differential speeds, mounted inside of a U-shaped, horizontal trough. The trough may be constructed for atmospheric operation or operation under vacuum and / or pressure conditions. The trough may be jacketed for heating or cooling.

Once the batch is completed, the finished product is discharged through the tilting of the mixing trough, dumping the final batch into a downstream container.
