Battaggion
Kneader Extruders
Battaggion Kneader Extruders, Model IPC, consist of two tangential sigma or masticating blades rotating at differential speeds, mounted inside of a U-shaped, horizontal trough. The trough may be constructed for atmospheric operation or operation under vacuum and/or pressure conditions. The trough may be jacketed for heating or cooling.
At the bottom of the trough is a discharge screw that runs below the blades. Once the batch is completed, the finished product is discharged by the discharge screw. The product can be discharged into containers or drums, extruded into special filtration systems, or into a variety of downstream devices.
